Sfera Duo
Colombian duo founded in 2019 by violinist Daniela Trujillo and guitarist Alejandro Valencia. Sfera Duo’s great passion and eagerness for chamber music drives them towards a constant interpretative search that integrates both traditional and contemporary repertoire.
In addition to persistently researching works written for this ensemble, they encourage new composers to write for the duo and create original compositions and arrangements in order to enrich their repertoire, contributing new ideas and artistic proposals to this format.
Sfera Duo’s first recording is currently available on digital platforms, featuring works by contemporary composers Jeffrey McFadden (Canada), Marek Pasieczny (Poland), Bence Kutrik (Hungary) and Kreshnik Aliçkaj (Albania).
